Level bug

While raising my Togepi, I noticed something odd. Where it says "Next level required exp" on the battle result page, it said -3,025 .  Is the negative number a bug?  Or what's up?

no akihiko when a pokemon level is really small level it won't need any exp to level up for 20 levels

pokemon can not gain 2 level at 1 battle
